One Day Conference

This one-day conference will be held on the last day of the 35th Annual NIDCAP Trainers Meeting and the first day of the 12èmes Journées Francophones NIDCAP, and is open to anyone interested in learning about NIDCAP Care. NIDCAP Trainers, Professionals and Supporters of NIDCAP Care from around the world will convene to discuss issues around optimizing preterm and term infant care with the NIDCAP approach.

Our focus this year will be on systems integration of NIDCAP at all levels – local, regional and national. Physicians, scientists, nurses, and family organization leaders from around the world have been invited to speak. Continuing education credits will be available for RNs.

The conference will be a hybrid format.  We look forward to seeing you whether in person or virtually!

Registration Rates, In-Person and Virtual

In-Person Registration Rate includes face-to-face interaction with speakers, face-to-face networking with colleagues, lunch, coffee breaks, printed and online materials, Certificate of Attendance, Continuing Education Credits (for RNs), access to recording through 31 January 2025.

Virtual Registration Rate includes access to live presentations via Zoom, opportunity to connect and network with colleagues via online ‘Chat’, online materials, Certificate of Attendance, CEUs (for RNs), access to recording through 31 January 2025.

The Conference will take place at the Pierre Baudis Congress Centre located in Toulouse’s city center on the edge of the Compans-Caffarelli park.

Situated 20 minutes  from the airport and 10 minutes by foot from the Capitole square, it can be reached easily by car or on foot with public transport. More information on access can be found below:

Transportation is facilitated by the Tisseo network

Toulouse Blagnac International Airport located 20/25 minutes from city centre.

  • Airport Shuttle
    • The airport shuttle connects Toulouse Blagnac Airport with the city center every 15 minutes.
    • The travel time is between 12 and 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
    • Get off at the 2nd stop: Compans Caffarelli. The conference center is located right across the street from the stop.
    • The fare is 9.50€, and tickets can be purchased on the bus with cash or a credit card.
  • By taxi the cost is about 40€
  • By rideshare service, the UBER and BOLT apps make it easy to find a vehicle for around 20€

Toulouse is connected directly by motorway with the main capitals of North and South Europe. The Paris-Bordeaux-Montpellier motorway is at the junction of the highway.

Underground parking is available at the “Compans Caffarelli” parking garage near the Palais des Congrès.  It is possible to book and prepay directly on the website.

Take train to the SNCF Toulouse Matabiau station
Toulouse is 5 hours and 30 min from Paris by high-speed train, 2 hours from Montpellier, and 2 hours from Bordeaux.

From the Train Station:

  • Bus 14 runs every 13 minutes at most (ticket 1.80€ at the counter or on the bus).
  • Airport shuttle, 9.50€
  • Metro line A direction “Basso Cambo”, change at” Jean Jaurès station, then take line B direction “Borderouge”, get off at “Compans Caffarelli” stop. (ticket 1.80€ at the counter)
