The NFI is proud to present the Swedish/Danish Conference on Ultra-Early Intervention on the last day of the 36th Annual NIDCAP Trainers Meeting. The One Day conference is open to all interested in learning about NIDCAP Care. NIDCAP Trainers, Professionals and Supporters of NIDCAP Care from around the world will convene to discuss issues around optimizing preterm and term infant care with the NIDCAP approach.

The Ultra-Early Conference, founded in 2009 by Björn Westrup and the Karolinska NIDCAP Center, Sweden is an annual scientific meeting. This year the conference is a collaboration between the NFI and four NIDCAP Training Centers – the Lund-Malmö NIDCAP Training and Research Center and the Karolinska NIDCAP Training and Research Center of Sweden, and the Danish NIDCAP Training and Development Center, Aarhus and Danish NIDCAP Training and Development Center, Copenhagen of Denmark and the centers’ four affiliated hospitals.

Continuing education credits will be available for RNs.

The conference will be a hybrid format.  We look forward to seeing you whether in person or virtually!

Registration Rates, In-Person and Virtual

In-Person Registration Rate includes face-to-face interaction with speakers, face-to-face networking with colleagues, lunch, coffee breaks, printed and online materials, Certificate of Attendance, Continuing Education Credits (for RNs).

Virtual Registration Rate includes access to live presentations via Zoom, opportunity to connect and network with colleagues via online ‘Chat’, online materials, Certificate of Attendance, CEUs (for RNs).

The Conference will take place at the Comwell Copenhagen Portside hotel located in North harbor area, “Nordhavn” of Copenhagen.

The hotel is within walking distance to Osterbro, and the new metro line now connect Nordhavn to the city line and the rest of Copenhagen. Direct metro from Copenhagen Airport to the doorstep of Comwell Copenhagen Portside located by the metro station “Orientkaj”.

Airport

From Copenhagen Airport to Comwell Portside Hotel is approximately 13 km. The hotel is near the Metro station Orientkaj.

From Copenhagen Airport take metroline M2 (yellow) line to Kongens Nytorv station and change to M4 (blue) line towards Orientkaj station (last stop). A one-way ticket will cost 30 DKr. The trip will take about 25-30 minutes. You can buy train tickets via https://www.dsb.dk/en/ or app https://apps.apple.com/dk/app/dsb/id1438634111 for Apple and https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.dsb.nda.android&pli=1 for Android.

Metro

Train and metro tickets can also be purchased at the DSB ticket office in Terminal 3 at the airport. You can also buy various types of tickets for the metropolitan area at the designated ticket machines.

Please note that you cannot buy tickets on the train and you risk being given a fine if you board without a valid ticket.

The Comwell Portside hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Metro station.

Taxi

Parking

Parking under the hotel costs from DKK 38 per hour to a maximum of DKK 210 per day (from 25 February 2025), excluding fees. Tickets may be purchased through an app, vending machine, or at the reception desk. Only daily tickets for the parking facility are sold at reception. The car’s registration number must be provided at reception upon arrival, and the first 30 minutes are free with the use of a parking disc.

Comwell does not refund any remaining parking time if the parking garage is full.

If the parking garage is full, an alternate parking facility at Orientkaj is suggested (approximately 100 meters from the hotel entrance).

If you leave the parking garage, a parking spot cannot be guaranteed upon your return, as it is a public parking facility. The hotel is not responsible for any control fees and refers to the applicable parking regulations on the signs in the parking facility.
